A cycling holiday is a natural extension of this process. All the enjoyable aspects of cycling and travel are combined in one activity.

The cycling holiday – a simple concept

Freewheel Holidays have been around since 1999. Our programme of cycling holidays in Europe has been expanding steadily since. The formula is simple : we provide the bicycle, book your accommodation, and move your luggage when you move. Some of our cycling holidays have a guide, but most are self-guided, with a host or rep to meet and greet and help out if needs be. You can even stay and eat on a river boat on one of our excellent ‘boat & bike’ holidays. The boat moves with you as you cycle each day in a group with a guide.

Our cycling holidays are graded so there’s sure to be something for everyone. Family cycling holidays are a great idea and our two holidays in Austria – in the valleys, not up and down mountains! – have been consistently popular.
