This guided holiday in early October gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the best that Andalucía has to offer. The remarkable towns of Ronda, Zahara de la Sierra, and Arcos de la Frontera betray many features of their Arab origins – dominant hilltop positions, whitewashed houses, and  labyrinthine street patterns. Your reward for the descent through cork oak forest is the aptly named Costa de la Luz, renowned for its bright light and broad sweeps of unspoilt beaches and coastline. See the site of the famous battle off Cape Trafalgar, and the distant mountains of Morocco across the Straits of Gibraltar.
