The Main Cycle Route Classic

This exciting route starts in Bamberg, which lies in “Bierfranken” aka the Franconia of beers. Follow the river as it flows through the Franconian wine country and penetrates luscious green forests in the Spessart region just to the back off Würzburg. Whilst following the cycle path you will really see why it's one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany. There are castles, fortresses, and intricately decorated churches, as well as spots to stop for a tipple in beer gardens and atmospheric wine taverns. There is also an abundance of history to learn.
